Okay, I'm tempted to get Marathon
ooo I liked the originals too but the new ones look amazing!
ooooh thank you for sharing the request form! <3
Just tried this game out and I can confirm that it's an absolute gem. Secretly almost more of a brainy puzzle game than a straight-up card game but I love that about it. Highly recommend.
Creator friendos, definitely reach out ๐
(thanks @terminalsio.bsky.social for the key <3 )
I still need to play Frostpunk 2! The new DLC looks great and the Steam sale might be the perfect excuse tbh๐
ooo this one looks interesting! ๐
I forgot to make the accompanying Curator list to the #IndieGame Gems of March so here it is!
store.steampowered.com/curator/4586...
As you can see, March was stacked with some amazing Indie Gems so I hope I helped you find something new <3
As always, I've streamed all of these over on twitch.tv/seththehex where I stream daily. Make sure to drop by if you want to find more indie gems!
HAM: The Game by Little Bird Studios - A coop factory management game that reminds me of the chaos of Overcooked. Make and fulfil orders before the time runs out to meet an ever-growing quota and beat a boss at the end of your run.
store.steampowered.com/app/4019090/...
Dungeon Bodega Simulator by @alienfruit.games - Manage a store to help adventurers prepare for their dungeoneering. Has some light puzzle solving and a story to tie it all together. If you're a streamer, the Twitch integration lets chat visit your store, too!
store.steampowered.com/app/3458180/...
Raccoin by @raccoingame.bsky.social @playstack.com - A coin pushing roguelite with Balatro-style jokers and a huge variety of coins to help you score a ton of points. I had so much fun breaking into the high E numbers on stream with this one <3
store.steampowered.com/app/3784030/...
Pluto by @join-indie-io.bsky.social - A roguelike deckbuilder where your fingers are essentially the mana you use to cast spells. Awards clever deckbuilding and overlaying of spells and definitely broke my brain in several painful (BUT FUN!) ways.
store.steampowered.com/app/3057670/...
Lucid Blocks by @lucyblocks.com - Imagine early Minecraft but with a thick layer of horror and weird. This is the exact kind of gem this list is meant to highlight. I love exploring and messing with different items to find new crafting recipes.
store.steampowered.com/app/3495730/...
EverSiege Untold Ages by @eversiegegame.com @dearvillagers.com - Roguelite MOBA-like tower defence game where you level up and try to push your way to the last boss on the map before the time is up. Great coop game that's actively listening to feedback, too!
store.steampowered.com/app/3363680/...
Starship Troopers Ultimate Bug War by @aurochdigital.bsky.social @dotemu.bsky.social - a video game about playing a recruitment video game in the Starship Troopers universe. Full of the same kind of parody I appreciate in the movie and plays like a retro FPS.
store.steampowered.com/app/2321780/...
Grind Survivors by @assembleteam.bsky.social - A Vampire Survivors-like with a dope artstyle and a ton of weapons to collect. Upgrade weapons between runs and craft some very cool builds during your runs - there's a ton of options here and some fun synergies!
store.steampowered.com/app/3816930/...
Dungeon Directory by @juhrjuhr.itch.io - A short but very unique dungeon crawler that you play inside Windows Explorer. Items are equipped by dragging them into a folder and you explore by dragging your character into folders. I'd love to see more of this!
store.steampowered.com/app/3333010/...
Slay the Spire 2 by @megacrit.com - Let's start with the obvious one. It's more Slay the Spire with some improvements and new characters/cards/relics. It's great. You should play it. You probably already have played it.
store.steampowered.com/app/2868840/...
Hey, we're past March and have entered April and that means it's time for another list of Indie Gems! March was filled with some great #IndieGame Gems that you might have missed because of THAT GAME so check these games out and remember to wishlist the ones you like
Support the #IndieDev peeps <3
Oh and I was curious so I looked it up, I was way off with the stars comment. There's an estimated 10e82 ATOMS in the observable universe so I was off by about 10e1022
A small miscalculation, of course.
(A Googolplex is still bigger so I was wrong twice)
I got to play @raccoingame.bsky.social a day early and got past round 100 using the power of RNG and repeating the phrase "made it" for about an hour
www.twitch.tv/videos/27362...
Can confirm that this game is amazing and you should play it
Then stop producing it, you muppet
Imagine paying 70 bucks for a game only for them to sneak in undisclosed Gen AI images
When I said this I was not talking about the Vampire Crawlers release date buuuut
I told you so
Twice
And was wrong once
Tomorrow is the day I get to say "I told you so" to a lot of people and I'm kinda excited for that
4 months and almost 8k views in and these are my top visited #SteamCurator game recommendations. Very happy to see that I'm doing my part to help get eyes on #indiegame and #indiedev
But I already own both ๐
The US-based right-wing grifters over on Twatter are suddenly very vocal about where Italy's government funds are going lmao
