New tablet has been ordered! I am so excited but also nervous to be using new hardware because I am so used to my current tablet 😭 but it'll be a much needed change!

Eventually I want to be selling completely custom realistic plush but I just haven’t had the time or energy, soon though I really hope to start creating again 🫶

As a lot of you know I got into plush as a coping mechanism and comfort tool for PTSD, I really hope to bring my own custom plush to everyone eventually but here’s an example of some customizing I did recently! ❤️

My website subscription renews this week and I thought long and hard about keeping it but I’m definitely ready to come back, I miss making adopts and lineart and paintings 💕🫶

I will be ordering a new drawing tablet (my poor Ugee finally shit the bed after 10 years) and then art is returning! I have made some life decisions the past couple weeks and I’m really excited to have more time for art, myself, my pets, and my bf + friends ❤️

Veterinary reception is an option but can be a bit high stress depending on the practice. You will really only need to stand/walk to lead people to rooms, speaking from experience as I’m a VA but I help with reception sometimes.

Anyways life’s been hard. I am struggling in a lot of ways but I really hope that I can come back to doing art. It’s very hard to find a work/life/health balance right now but I’m trying my best. I am working on writing a book when I have free time :)

I placed an IV catheter and did a blood draw on my first try today, really proud because I am hoping to be more independent with my own patients. New opportunity came up in terms of me moving to Canada, so I’m debating on whether to do online (vet tech) school or wait til I am living in MTL…

I’ve not been doing well physically, having a procedure Monday and I need another surgery already even though it’s been less than a year. I miss art and drawing, I miss myself.

False alarm, windows 8 comparability mode has saved my tablet for now. So hopefully it stays that way cause I love this tablet, I’ve had it for almost 10 years and I am emotionally attached to it, I struggle to draw on anything else. I gave it a name at one point too lol.

The piggy here is Baloo who I had adopted so he could have surgery, but unfortunately it was too late. I only had him for less than 2 days, but I miss him dearly.

Getting guinea pigs next year, so excited, been planning for like 6 months and decision has been made. I am now able to do a lot more at work and able to be more independent in surgery/recovery + back to college to be a CVT. Hoping to work on seasonal shop updates w/ my free time, 2026 looks good ❤️😊
