Got a portable monitor for the upcoming #PyTorchCon Europe. Easy connection with Thinkpad X1C, MacBook pro, pixel 9, ipad mini etc. with one cable. Multiple backup options if something fails! Although ipad will be last option unless I can calibrate it. #DPaltMode

It's painstaking work going through various percussion parts mapping them out for a limited number of players, taking into account positioning of instruments, transitions, player strengths, and more. Is there a tool to automate this? Then again the process acquaints me with the pieces much better πΆπ΅

Sausages and pineapple getting cooked on the grill, with 5 sausages being consumed at this point.
It was nice to relax and bbq with a lake view and company of good friends. Got a bit chilly towards the end (5Β°C with winds picking up) but a welcome break after a hectic week. Simple pleasures.

Well I already had the thought during our first trip to Japan in 2014... a really great way to relieve stress.

Saw a performance by #Kodo taiko drumming troupe last weekend. So inspiring. Having an urge to fly to #Japan for half a year (or however long it takes to get some basic taiko training), and come back and form our own #taiko drumming group here in Finland. Anyone wanna join? π₯

Train station experience in #Shanghai so different from europe. ID + security check just to enter the station (special line for foreigners), can't use self service ticket machines without local ID, another special lane for passports when entering the platform. I know the language and still felt lost
