It is entirely possible to stand in solidarity with Iranians who oppose the brutal oppression of the theocracy who rules over them and understand that Israel and the United States have no interest in their liberation whatsoever.
It's weird. I can oppose both Israel and synagogue shootings for the same reason: killing people in houses of worship (or hospitals, or schools, or day cares, or homes) is evil and nobody should do it. It's actually really easy to say "don't kill a bunch of people in a house of worship."
