This story is excellent and I've thought about it a lot since I first read it, but beyond the wild vileness of the Dolanworld types the thing that has stuck with me is Dolan demanding not to see K-9 units due to his "disdain for dogs." It's not that he doesn't like them. He doesn't respect them.

Wow. That's a very based thought.

Before every post, I pause and think to myself "how is this going to benefit The West?" And if I don't think that the bit I've crafted about the Mets grounding out all the time is helpful in that way, I don't post it.

There are lots of good reasons to support the return of one of the great music publications, but this is a fun petty one if you prefer one of those.
