Was 'The Walshes' the last thing he did? Perhaps the commercial indifference to its brilliance cracked his mind.
This is decent and warrants deeper listening. I look forward too diving in further!
I'm going to give that a listen on the basis of the name alone.
Soooo good.
I finished "The Goldfinch" by Donna Tartt recently and really enjoyed that. Currently approaching the end of "Piranesi" by Susanna Clarke which is very good too.
That's wild!..and seriously desperate wishful thinking!
I'm looking forward to watching it again some time and I was also gutted when I it was cancelled. That said, my memory of the way s2 ended has certainly kept the mystery alive in a Twin Peaks s3 kind of way.
However Jason Isaacs recent comments about 'not giving up' on it are most encouraging.
Did you see that Jason Isaacs was recently saying that he's not giving up on it?

On my way! ๐๐๐
@maxtundra.com where's yer next album?
Sounds interesting. I'm coming to the end of The Goldfinch, which I've been really enjoying and I could do with lining something up next.
Beautiful and masterful. ๐
Just brilliant! Slow down - and watch :) ๐
Wait 'til you hear about Perry Farrell.
Our chimney sweep's no Dick Van Dyke, but certainly looks like he's swept a hell of a lot of chimneys in his time. Plus he gets major bonus points as his name is Harry Grimes.
He doesn't disappoint.
Thanks for your advice, I'll check it out and pass in the info! ๐
Hi @curegigstats.bsky.social, a friend has asked for a good book about The Cure. I've not read one since Ten Imaginary Years, and whilst that's excellent, its long out of print and rather a lot has happened since! What would you recommend as the definitive read these days? Thanks
Ah bugger I forgot about this and have only just seen it. Looks like tomorrow's the night for me...which was the night I went to.
I heartily endorse this product / event.
'Tis officially 'The Season'
@maxtundra.com
Thanks for making me aware of it. I caught up via i-player and enjoyed it very much, despite having has a heavy tea.
A little nugget of a chorus of a live acoustic version of Under The Everything, which is out everywhere' and also on the Album 'Soup Du Jour' - available on Bandcamp and very soon everywhere else.

Wowsers!
Fair enough, although it's a shame not to see it standing up against the albums in this list.
Curious categorisation.
