As we begin the budget review process, it’s important to hear from diverse constituencies on their distinct needs.

District 2 Chinatown residents spoke of sidewalk repair, better quality services at Boston schools, the lack of trees and old infrastructure that impedes service delivery.

This day celebrates women and their achievements and also recognizes that, in the over 100 years since this recognition began, there are many barriers that still remain. This day is also an important call to action to continue the work until women everywhere are equal and free.
