According to HLN, Roglič will ride some races until the end of 2025! 🥳 Initially the plan was to do the Canadian classics and then do both the TT and the RR at the WCs but now the plan is to do just the RR. Afterwards Roglič will compete in the Italian classics with Il Lombardia being a big goal.

Wout was the first rider to drop Pogi in almost 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 😲

Before Wout van Aert dropped Tadej Pogačar on the slopes of Montmartre in Stage 21 of the Tour de France, the last rider to do it was Primož Roglič, who dropped him to win the 2023 Giro dell’Emilia.

The race should still be neutralised, the cars have no access to riders once you hit the new circuit. Potential to lose the Tour on last day (or whichever position) because you can’t get a spare bike isn’t really OK.

Primož has an extremely strong head. If he still wants to race at the highest level, he will definitely be able to do so. He invests a lot, works hard, like few others. He has a winning mentality, if he wants to return to the top, he will get there.

He was getting better and better towards the end.Remco also didn't have the best preparation due to injury, but the consequences were completely different. Primož did much better, even though he had many injuries and other problems. From that perspective, his performance was very good.

Aldag is convinced that Roglič got the most out of the race given the circumstances. "The preparation was very good, but it was also very short. He fell at the Giro and recovered in time to go into battle with the best of the best. That's not easy, tdf is more demanding than any other race.

"Primož's performances were very good. Cycling is getting faster and faster, and he also set his personal records in many places. The most important thing was that we worked together as a team to finish on the winners' podium. Florian managed to do that, and Primož could have done it too."

He slipped from 5. to 8. place on the climb to La Plagne. He tried everything and it was very important for us that he was there. For a while we were the only team with two cyclists in the top five. We could play on that and there was also less stress in the team because we had two trump cards."
