This next part is more specific to me, but after a few years, music alone didn't feel like enough.

I began experimenting with stimulants. Caffeine first then Nicotine, those helped, but I eventually found that part of it was due to ADHD.

Eventually I settled on LoFi being my go-to work mode music, more specifically this channel: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPje...

I found that after eventually creating a correlation between one particular type of music, I'd be able to focus on what I needed to.

This eventually got to the point where I had an earbud in no matter what time of day, always trying to find the right song for the situation (think baby driver).

Little did I know, this would be the start of me gaining an entirely new perspective into understanding "what is music?"

During this time, I felt like no matter how hard I tried, I could not get anything done.. However, one thing that always seemed to help was music.

After learning this, I start self-experimenting figuring out what kind of music helped the most.

I'm sorry you are going through this.. I absolutely understand how infuriating it can be to go through something like this.

I underwent a period in my life where I found myself in a similar place where I felt like I had lost all control of my executive function.
