I know I have been quiet this week, been working thru a few health issues after some damage to my knee, I'll try being here again, in between pain pills.

The biggest problem, I have sent out 6 so far to friends and none have helped me, that is frustrating. I'm not sure how to approach them to see if they would follow through. 🙂

Is it smart to give out free copies to get reviews, or does that risk of losing sales overpower it? I feel reviews matter just as much as sales when you're just starting out. Thoughts please?

I wanted to include myself with KDP from Amazon, but I took issue with a few things if I went that way.
The exclusive clause, I'm a Canadian Author, I wanted to deal with Canadian publishers.
I ended up with Kobo, I know, not Canadian, but has a deal with Chapters Indigo, so there's that.
