Some Splatoon players do, most are pretty chill

One thing I probably should have added is that most teams that fail to schedule their matches simply drop off without an issue. Even when one does complain or lash out, you can tell their frustration post isn't necessarily their usual behavior

As a caster, I get to feel these delays a lot and they're a pain. Because I'm not the one to say "no" I never get any flame for it but let me be clear: I fully back every TO decision for every tournament I've ever been a part of

If anything, I think TOs are too lenient. Be kind to them 💛

The TOs will have a choice between "breaking precedent" or letting LUTI run an extra extra extra week

When you join LUTI. You agree to a schedule. And yes, scheduling things across multiple continents is hard. The TOs know that, they're organizing LUTI across continents themselves

When you're two weeks late to your LUTI set, you're asking LUTI staff to add at least another week of LUTI to their schedule

When they give you more extension and you (inevitably) are late to your playoffs games too... Then what choice will the TOs get?

When you're five minutes late to your set in Paddling Pool, you're holding the bracket five extra minutes, and staff will go to bed five minutes later. And since you're not the only one to be late, we easily waste 30 minutes per tourney

I agree with this so hard but also notice it’s the same people doing it time and time again. They are agitators + love to dogpile, make situations about them. Main character syndrome + some status in the community and suddenly they can say whatever. You don’t need to have an opinion on everything.
