Facebook post from Sage Mountain Sled Dogs: UPDATE: They're on the move again!!! What a day. Jenny has been through a lot, but the dogs were able to get some quality rest while "Mom" hunted down enough supplies that they could safely continue their journey. The dogs are in good spirits, which is what is most important. Jenny's family was able to have a conference call with Race Marshall, Warren Palfrey, and Jason (who was the volunteer checker in Kaltag) where some clarifying information was provided. First, there were checkers in Kaltag when she arrived (thanks, Jason!), only 2 out of her 4 drop bags were missing, and the checkers were able to assist Jenny in her search for supplies. Cell phone reception is spotty at best in those areas, which made it difficult to collect the most accurate information prior to this conference call. Please help share this information far and wide! Jenny is one tough, smart, and strong woman! Her and Mike work hard and give everything they've got into providing the best care and life for their pups. The dogs mean everything to them. It is truly inspiring to watch! To be able to pick yourself up and keep moving forward after a rough day while fighting sleep deprivation and still providing top-notch care to the pups is truly amazing!
