Awesome! What part is that display made of?

Sometimes this is needed for vibration or moisture reasons.
That depends on the device case, regardless, no ECUs in modern cars are designed for repairability 😔
Bootloader bugs are fun, find some with Depthcharge 😄
The province is busy with more pressing matters like removing bike lanes for no reason.
I took an e-bike share today and agree. I would have got more exercise on the non-electric option but when you’re actually trying to get somewhere it’s hard to beat electric assist.
It’s still a great workout, just lower intensity and more consistent.
Legitimately better for cyclists and drivers with the controlled left turns.
There are a few signals that still haven’t been updated (between Bathurst and Spadina) but otherwise it’s great.
Biker’s view of the bike lane on Adelaide St in downtown Toronto
Reminder: the Adelaide bike lane is great.
I had a visceral reaction to this gif.
ngl, seeing articles like this in a centre-right news source gives me some hope.
Yeah, the message should be clear: if they won’t work together to defeat Ford, they’re responsible for his repeat majority.
Plan A can be made a lot more palatable by doing it for a smaller number of ridings and trading an equal number between ONDP and OLP based on which is more likely to win.
This benefits everyone except the specific candidates that need to step back from running.
Yep, this is painfully obvious but it feels like there’s nothing we can do to convince them to work together.
If the NDP and Libs pulled candidates from an equal number of ridings they could form a government pretty easily. But they won’t, so we get Ford.
And I don’t hate cars! I worked in EV / hybrid powertrain and have been involved in automotive security for years.
But we need infrastructure that encourages less of them in busy places and keeps us safe from the people behind the wheel.
Besides, *nobody* likes driving in Downtown Toronto.
When the @theglobeandmail.com’s car guy agrees that bike lanes are good, maybe removing them is a huge mistake.
Great article by @mattbubbers.bsky.social.

Err, more like 1/5th, but hey, let’s assume some budget overruns on the bike lane removal 🤷♂️
It’s crazy that for about 1/10th of the price of ripping up bike lanes we can nearly double the size of the bike share network.
This has to be the best bang for buck public transport project, and Bill 212 will make it far less appealing to use.
So this is how we get traffic calming on Bloor post-bike lane removal?
If the bike lanes come out on Bloor, prepare for a *huge* influx of e-bikes on the sidewalk. It’s a major route for food delivery and they’re not taking detours for better infrastructure.
They probably still won’t kill you though.
Hello from Toronto!
Please save us 😢
Oh now paved shoulders aren’t allowed?
Oops, I forgot, it’s actually a very tiny bus lane.
Bike lane? What are you talking about, that’s a protected paved shoulder!
This is my route down to Bloor and it’s great!
I guess it’ll become my route down to college and be less great 😢
Vx in the Cherokee 180 during winter is a bit concerning because all you see is blue sky 😀
An orange safety hammer for breaking glass with a seatbelt cutter.
Cyclists should consider carrying one of these devices for safety purposes.
If you come across a car crash while cycling, you can quickly and safely break the vehicle’s glass to help the occupants escape.
Remember, road safety is everyone’s responsibility!
Hmm, how much Quikrete can you carry with a cargo bike?
😔
We knew it was going to pass, so I guess it’s done now. Time to see if the city has some plans to stall, and what happens next I guess.
Now there’s a good measurement of inflation!
Nice bike! My current city bike is an old Raleigh MTB that I paid $40 for a year ago.
Bikes are the cheapest form of transit.
I once made some American friends ride an extra 4 km so I could hit a round 100 km.
Their computers were all in miles.
Getting over the Don and Humber rivers and the west end rail requires a significant detour without Bloor.
Bypassing Bloor GO means going north to Dupont or south to Dundas. Those are significant detours.
