Attack the queen with Bf5

I'm planning some work in Steps 1 - mix, and at least one 30m game on chess dot com.

Nd3+ gets recaptured

Nxc2+ forks the rook, but gets recaptured by the queen, which we can attack with Be5

Nxa2 captures the pawn, forces the recapture with the rook, and white cannot castle long

Na6 is safe but not great

I'd go with Nxc2+. Capture a pawn and get a tempo on the queen

Nice progress!

I'm stumped here. Two ways to protect the knight, a5 and Qd3. But I'm guessing those are not the correct move.

Chess can add a little to our longevity (though the "data" presented is thin) I think it's the enrichment of our lives that matters a bit more.

That's a good reminder. I also have to avoid the afternoon and evening for the same reason.👍

Something I can work on, not specifically chess related, is how I handle OTB games mentally & physiologically. I played a club game at the Rochester Chess Center last night. The image is my stress level throughout the day (Garmin). Being more chill may help me find a win some day. #chesspunks

An Older Woman's Chess Journey - Starting Chess at Age 63 An Older Woman's Chess Journey Starting Chess at Age 63

I'm not sure how widely this blog gets shared, so I'm sharing it with the #chess and #chesspunks community here. The most recent post really struck me and inspires me to get out, play, and be kind to others navigating this game. chess.dawnlawson.net

Is there a way to save the chessfeed? I have Chesspunks saved but can't seem to do similar with chessfeed. Thanks!

Kxe3 seems so alluring. But I think the others are likely more experienced, and planing to usher the H pawn is the move.

I won 200 rating points with a simple challenge - Next Level Chess By GM Noël Studer I struggled to play blitz with full focus, so I created a simple challenge for myself and won 200 rating points. Here is how.

After reading/listening to Noel Studer talk about his #chess challenge I've taken a similar approach. Just playing a game or two a night with as much focus as I can. So far I'm losing quite a bit, but I'm not stressing (too much). Just gonna keep playing for the rest of the month. #chesspunks

I'm stumped. f4+ maybe?

I've limited my intake to the few Chesspunks posts. I haven't ventured out into the wild.

Has everyone gone through the painful process of losing six games in a row and thinking they have made no progress at all? Then win a game like this and all is right in the world again.
Black to play and win.
