I don't get it. Why does he continue to suck up to Trump? How can he not be aware of Trump's contempt for sycophants?

Last October, Trump lost his mind over Doug Ford's TV ads, featuring R. Reagan, calling them "election interference". Yet, what Vance is doing is fine?
They've seen this play before. Don't be surprised if they don't show up.
I've never even heard of the band, so...that's a "no".
I get it. I'm very conflicted about this. While many Iranians appear to be celebrating this, Trump's and Netanyahu's motivations are suspect, at the very least. And, I'll be surprised if Iran's people will be any better off.
I said that I *hope* it turns out to be justified. I'll elaborate, by saying that I *expect* to be disappointed. Which, in turn, means I'll be disappointed in the PM's statement.
Those regime changes involved boots on the ground. Is there any reason to the US and/or Israel to invade?
Of course I don't support murder - of children, or anyone else. I don't think my posts remotely suggested that I do.
I highly doubt that an elementary school would be an intended target. That said, until/unless evidence is presented justifying this action, I do *NOT* support it. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that it is just another distraction from Trumps domestic problems.
I very much hope that the Canadian government is in possession of intelligence justifying the US/Israeli attack. Otherwise, this statement is not going to age well.
The US ambassadors to Canada are obnoxious boors, as well.
Can we trust these poll results when MAGA won't talk to pollsters?
I remember being happy for the US team when they won gold against the USSR in 1980. Sadly, (certainly as it pertains to sports), us Canadians now tend to regard the US the way we did the Soviets back in the day. Who'da thunk we'd come to this?
I was immediately suspicious when I saw posts from "you" pumping cryptocurrency. I wish all the serious players would move over here. The nonsense on X is so tiresome.
It was just a few short months ago that Trump and his minions lost their collective minds over a TV ad, featuring Ronald Reagan, paid for by the Ontario Government.
Nope. Ignoring the moral implications, the US would sabotage a Canadian nuclear weapons program into oblivion before it got off the ground.
That's not a forehead, that's a fivehead.
But, from a practical standpoint, if a private citizen pulls out a pistol during an ICE protest, the probability that he/she will be immediately peppered with lead approaches 100%. To be clear, Pretti did nothing wrong here, the fault is entirely ICE's.
I suspect that physical courage in battle is much easier to find than moral courage to do the right thing, going against leaders, as well as peers.
If we don't stand up for Denmark and Greenland, how can we expect Europe to stand up for Canada?
1936 Berlin Olympics says "Hi"!
The Trump administration lost their minds over the Reagan TV ad, complaining of political interference in the US. But, RFK's nonsense about Germany is all above board...apparently.

Liberal ≠ progressive.
I've never seen the Scott version. After watching Alistair Sim every Christmas season, I can't bring myself to watch any other version.
Another numpty who thinks NATO membership involves paying dues. Nobody twisted the US government's arm to force it to spend so much on their military. That was the choice they made.

The thought of a Maple MAGA government fills me with dread. So, should the NDP vote against the budget and trigger an election costing more than a half-billion dollars, the electorate should punish them mercilessly.
I'd like to think that the NDP is criticizing the budget now in order to appease their base, but will "reluctantly" vote in favour, because they know the consequences of a Poilievre-lead CPC coming to power.
