every "misuse" of a public facility, whether it's bathrooms or benches or whatever is a sign that something has gone wrong more broadly. that we have fucking failed at providing for our people. and yes, they are OUR people. there is no shrugging this responsibility to each other off

Zhang Shan won the gold medal for the mixed skeet shooting event in the 1992 Olympics.

The International Shooting Union *immediately* banned women from competing against men.

I 100% support democracy in the US and follow Democracy Docket and Marc Elias - at least I try to.. as a legally blind person, it's insanely difficult to read the news letters with their bright white background and black font, mixed with ads and videos.

Also there’s nothing like becoming a parent to realize just how hostile the architecture of everywhere has gotten to children. Remember being a kid? Remember how your little legs and feet would get tired? Or how you’d need a water fountain, or suddenly need the bathroom? Well, fuck them kids

We literally just sent people to orbit the moon and they’re going to flush all that expertise and knowledge down the sewer.

And yes, I still think it’s gross she’s doing this given that she has things like her book club, and she knows the impact of AI on publishing…

And it just feels weirder and more gross she’s pulling a tee hee AI is so scary, we should learn!! routine when this has clearly been in the works.

So remember how Reese Witherspoon pretended she doesn’t know anything about AI and we should learn with her and then doubled down when called out?

Her brand has a partnership with Purdue. www.purdue.edu/collaboratio...

I've felt this exact same way since I first joined this place.
1. Media tab displayed grid/gallery style
2. At least 4 nameable folders

This would benefit literally Everyone, not just artists. People could sort their pets, travel, food, hobbies, home renovations, etc.

I’m disabled and often need to sit if I am waiting for the bus, but I would still rather have benches even if a homeless person is always sleeping on it and I cant use it, rather that no bench at all, or a bench that only I can sit in but a homeless person cant lay down on.

Just Give. Us. Benches.

Checked on my flowers this evening and the yellow bearded irises have buds and one has the tiniest peek of yellow petals starting to break out of the calyx.

Will the irises bloom before the peonies? Probably! Come from behind win!
