Am I finally going to subscribe to FIAWEC+ this year and attempt to watch some things live vs the catch up I usually do?

EMOTIONLESS ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I know some of you make fun of it, but I need you to understand the emotional work that the Microsoft Outlook 365 thumbs-up takes on for me. “I acknowledge this is a thing that exists without sharing my opinion and thereby creating more labor for myself.” It’s valuable!

My favorite place semi-near here is a little tiny place next to a waterfall (which used to power their mill). And you have to always get the freshly-made cider donut along with the gallon of cider and bags of apples. ✅ #StokingNortheastEnvy

Well luckily there is a local producer that makes the go-to buckwheat mix but 👀👀 apple cider…

This has historically been a buckwheat blend household.

I have a couple that are just starting to fall apart a bit but they have definitely put in their time. 🙃

There are a lot of issues with news coverage these days FOR SURE but literally the whole point is to ask the basic questions because not everyone has the same knowledge as you, internet expert, and to have the person go on record saying X or Y about said topic.

She also talks about people assuming asking a question is “taking a side” and I see so many comments (on here and elsewhere) taking journalists to task for asking what they see as either obvious questions or seem to think questions align with the journalists personal views.

Update: I enjoy this thing (it’s a model from OXO). I slightly miss the elaborate slapping routine I had to get everything out of the blade grinder, but I’ll live to replace them with nice, even push-button grounds.

This is quite literally the lowest type of journalism, because 1) it’s clickbait and 2) it’s written by AI

Any journalist with an ounce of self respect would abhor this…

Teenager and I have been working through Felicity and I continue to be aggressively AntiNoel, more so with every rewatch.

It's a diptych: on the left me - my head - a white woman with green eyes, long braids, giant yellow eyeglasses and wearing matching safety yellow noise canceling ear protection. On the right a black and white photo of two women blowing into gigantic metal straight horns, so large that the bell end is resting on the ground.

I'm SEEKING artist interview PODCASTS. I want to hear about: flow + studio work practices, techniques, materials, tools, color theory + inspiration from any kind of physical art makers — painting, textiles, ceramics, sculpting, etc.

I don't want to hear: How I Grew My Art Business to $$,$$$

I've added "pushing you around in the cart until we're kicked out" to my version.
