So according to #Israel #Netenyahu's #IDF it's not ok to smash a statue of #Jesus ( you'll go to prison ) but it is ok to kill thousands of innocent men, women and children? 💔

While Israel goes unpunished we can only assume the row agree.

The USA should immediately be excluded from all international organisations, treaties and agreements and heavily sanctioned until it removes its current leaders from power, and not readmitted until they agree irrevocably for Americans to be subject to international justice as the rest of the world.

ALP MPs would do well to heed Doug Cameron’s warning here.

Here in Alicia Payne’s electorate moves are afoot to find a community independent.

We are not alone.

This is a big win for older Australians. Labor will ditch co-payments for in-home showering, dressing and continence care barely 6 months after they rolled them out.

Great to see Labor admitting their mistake but they shouldn't have been gouging older people in the first place.

Smashing a statue gets a jail sentence. Maiming children gets praise.

Since vested interests are spruiking biofuels again it's worth remembering that, at any sort of scale, biofuels are an environmental catastrophe. They have a legitimate niche role where a genuine waste feedstock is available but that's it. They can't sustainably power our transport systems.

I’m so tired of the tech hype machine.

Idgaf how you’re optimizing with AI, what the hell are you doing for people?

How are you making the world actually better?

Idgaf what your job title is or what you’re selling.

I could give two fucks about your manifesto or your stocks.

Be a fucking human.

Outrage over Israeli soldier's vandalism of Jesus statue in Lebanon The Israeli military says it views with "great severity" the actions of the soldier, as the US ambassador demands "swift" consequences.

If you are outraged by a statue being vandalised but not outraged by genocide you may just be a hypocritical piece of shit.

This is a problem although most drivers can get enough charge overnight from a standard powerpoint - they dont need 100% charge for the daily commute so its more an issue for those in apartments. Power to car spaces should be a requirement in new apartment builds

The gas ripoff. Japan collects more on our gas than we do - Michael West The Japanese Government makes more revenue taxing its imports of Australian gas than the Australian Government does from exporters.

So cowed by the foreign gas lobby .. the failure of successive govts is so epic that the Japanese tax *our* Australian gas more than we tax the foreign multinationals which export the stuff

Norway taxes fossil fuel companies 78%.

Some people in Australia say we should tax our gas companies at a rate of 25%.

It seems that is letting them off lightly.

Why don't we tax them at 78%, like Norway does?
