That's good to hear. I am curious about it so once I have some time I'll have to give it a try!

I don't mind the challenging enemies and combat but when I have to replay a section that took me nearly an hour to get through just for the opportunity to try again on the enemy that killed me. It just doesn't feel worth the effort.

Oh man, well I'm still trying to figure out all my frustrations but the two big ones are

-It's a common one but lack of a pause button.

-The check pointing is incredibly frustrating. Last night I lost 45 minutes of progress. Losing not only progress in the level but also the blood echoes

@tftblpod.bsky.social also recommended Elden Ring. I may have to pick it up at some point.

I think I keep trying it cause of how much praise the games get but there are so many design choices that are just not fun for me and I keep hoping maybe if I approach it a different way I'll enjoy it more.

See I've tried that too and didn't like it either. I liked it a lot more than Dark Souls or Bloodborne though!

Yea it's DLC but credits rolled dammit. A cool addon to the base game that was maybe a smidge too long? But I loved the relationship between Aloy and Seyka. That alone made it worth it.
