"Go at throttle up" is still a phrase that echoes in my head watching launches.
Just returned from my first trek to the Santa Clara Microcenter. I was super impressed. Big and open and lively, so much stuff I hadnt seen before. Made me super nostalgic for the late 90s when going to Frys just to browse was a common way to get out of the house with the gang.
Oh, and 'clincher' is the bog-standard style of bike tire. So if its not torn up, a fresh tube should set you right, just be sure to match the valve type!
They're 37mm wide, 622mm diameter. The 700c is the Kenda brand label diameter. Wider tires mean more pedal resistance, and could interfere with handling (or brakes if it has the pinchy-type brakes)

I said I'd spend the new year with anime, and so I did. Finished Arcane S2 at about 5am, starting off a year of good choices right, obviously.
NYE 25 years ago, I was with friends, had chocolate-covered strawberries, cuban cigars, and Dom Pérignon. Tonight it's just me with some peanuts left over from a trip to Five Guys.
Scene from “Everything Everywhere All At Once” of a vast desolate mountainous terrain, with two round rocks sitting on the edge of a cliff. Subtitle simply says “Fuck.”
Repost if you remember the intense emotional rollercoaster the first time you watched “Everything Everywhere All At Once”

Thats one from way back! Mind you, 30ish years later, I still think about the chili fountains every time I see a Johnny Rockets.
Since they seem really set on using that promo shot, let's review, and pass along to any newbies:
- do not watch Grave w/your kids (teens, ok your call)

- do not watch Grave alone
- DO NOT watch Grave in MH crisis, or even mild upset
You Care And I Don’t, So You Win: The Copyediting Story
Star Citizen has some gameplay loops I like, but not enough to keep me going long-term. I search far and wide for something I might have missed, but so far still nothing that exactly meets what I want to play. So of course I do the sane thing and start writing my own.
Kerbal took care if this for about 2000 hours a decade ago. Elite Dangerous did the business for me for another thousand, but really only with friends. Most of the ones that used to play have stopped, the rest are not on the same schedule as me.
A few weeks ago I got a specific, deep, and intense itch. One that's never been fully scratched. I really, really needed to play spaceships.
