Typical tech hype cycle. Completely predictably. And if you hear the way people are talking about ML these days, we're clearly getting ahead of ourselves.

Unpopular prediction: within the next 12-24 months, there will be switch in the mainstream narrative around ML. Conventional wisdom will become that AI was totally overhyped, didn't deliver on its promises, etc...
