"Just believe the victims" is more a result of authorities not pursuing the evidence to make arrests. If the judicial system was actually working, there'd be at least one arrest would have been made of the men who paid to rape children? The wealthy & powerful simply aren't being prosecuted.

In 2016, I thought the UK was pretty stupid to fall for Putin's propaganda campaign to weaken NATO & the EU. Then to my horror, my own country, the US, elected Trump, because of Putin's propaganda. My opinion of general human intelligence dropped dramatically due to those 2 events.
