(I know that sounds nuts but we live in the US & haven’t retired yet, so we really do have all the flexibility to allow at the moment; I’d much rather they know they never have to juggle or compromise on time. I figure we’ll get the best result, even if they never actually need to slide a schedule)

Bluewater in Ladbroke; probably late summer, tho again, we’ve explicitly setup the expectation that it’s variable. Ie, they have a boat for Crick this year, so that’s a real deadline - if they were for some reason crunched on resources, work on ours may just pause a bit, which won’t be an issue.

I’m so excited to see yours when it’s done; you’ve got to be close now, I’d think! Ours has no required timeline, so we’re lucky on that front (our builder has been great & moving promptly to date; we just don’t -need- them to be done at any specific date so if something comes up, no problem for us)

(Also let me know what sort of candies & such - I should have plenty of luggage space for whatever is needed 😆 Surprised tho as everyone I know in the 🇬🇧 hates 🇺🇸 chocolate & candy from the bittering agents & different dyes)

These sorts of reference pictures are invaluable, especially the ones for bits that are quickly covered up never to be seen again (until there’s an issue). Builder shots may be ‘look good’ biased even unconsciously, vs what a 3rd party would take (or what I would if I was there).

I should be getting another set from the builder as well, but it’d be nice knowing “anyone but the builder” took pictures (since I’m not there to do it). Also just to have as a consistent PoV reference (ie, snap pic, step left a few feet, snap pic, step left, all the way around). In my day job,
