Roller derby weekend! Denver RD vs. Divergence RD, Saturday and Sunday. I was scorekeeper for Saturday’s game, and I had the pleasure of coaching with DivRD for the Sunday game. We didn’t take the W, but we had a great time.

From my last skate sesh on Sunday. Being on 8 wheels again has given me life!
Too bad I had surgery yesterday. 😅 Hopefully I’ll be back to skating in a couple of weeks!
Oops — almost 10 months off derby*
I went back to derby practice on February 23rd after almost 10 months off skates. My poor ankles are scabbed over now but the bruise is gone. 😎

I wanna come back no contact! My therapist hasn’t given me the green light yet. My right knee started acting up a few weeks ago, so now I’m rehabbing that one as well. 😒

Oh nooooo. I got mono from my son when he was 2 years old. We never figured out how he got mono in the first place… so weird.
