🍂 WELCOME AUTUMN! 🍁
This sweet young pup came to us recently from a rescue partner and we are smitten! She's three months old and estimated to be some sort of lab, poodle, wiry-haired something or other, and we just love her little white beard and scruffy face!

🧡 SAY HELLO TO SWEET PEA 🧡
Sweetpea came to us recently from SARA Sanctuary, and she's as sweet as they come! She's a 5-month-old coonhound who loves other dogs and kids. She attended her first event last night and was shy, but warmed up quickly. She's looking for a foster or forever home.

Randy turned 6 recently, but that just makes him appreciate romps in the grass, long walks, and playing with his ball even more. He has his quirks and would do best as an only pet since he's particular about the dogs he befriends, but we don't like everyone we meet either, so we get it!

Joker is a nice, easy-going guy! He loves field trips, meeting new people, and giving out kisses! He has been at Big Barn for several months now, and we would love to get him into a foster or forever home so he can truly blossom into the derpy goofball we know him to be!

Jacque has been on several field trips and has mastered the art of car rides, soaking in the new sights and sounds, and just enjoying life! He's a perfect 40 pounds, not too big, not too small, and will fit right into your life!

This handsome guy has been with us for almost two months and has been making the rounds! He is a three-year-old cattle dog who's dog-friendly and loves to hang out with his people. If you're looking for an adventure buddy, freckle-faced Booth is your guy!

🐝 LISETTE IS A BUSY BEE! 🐝
Lisette joined us a month ago and has been go-go-going ever since! She's been to events, taken car rides, and gone on long walks. She's a one-year-old lab mix and is friendly and social with everyone! She loves hanging with her people!

🖤 OZZY O - PRINCE OF BARKNESS 🖤
Ozzy came to us around the time of Ozzy Osbourne's passing, and we thought the name suited him! He's about a year old and believed to be a Chihuahua/Terrier mix. He went on a field trip recently and did great in the car, and made a new bestie!

Tiller is a young mama cat we saw at MADACC. Her two kittens, Anchor and Port, are doing well, and we would love for them to go to a home together. They are bonded siblings who look to each other for comfort. Plus, two kittens are always better than one! 😍😍.

This sweet boy has been with us for over 5 months! He's just over a year and a half old and is everything you want in a cat: playful, cuddly, and curious! He is currently hanging out at PetSmart in Pleasant Prairie, WI, so you can stop by and fall in love with this handsome guy. 😍

This is Relish. He is one of the Superbowl puppies from way back in February! He's almost 8 months old now and, while he is loving foster life, he would love finding his forever home even more! Looking for an energetic young sidekick? Relish says "Pick me!"

Barrel is a young St Bernard mix we just took in. He's a year old and currently underweight at 61 pounds when he should be closer to 80. Full-grown adult St Bernards are well over 100 pounds! Where are all our BIG DOG fans?

The day after Ryne Sandberg got a statue at Wrigley Field, we rescued a dog from CACC, and named him Ryno. Sadly, Ryne Sandberg passed away yesterday. We are sad that his namesake has passed, but we are also sad that Ryno is still looking for his forever home more than a year later. 😔

This pup came to us from CACC. He is estimated to be about 7 months old and described as a very easy-going, happy-go-lucky youngster. With a little training and some TLC, he will be the perfect companion

Our baby girl was lucky enough to go on an adventure yesterday and got to experience life outside of the shelter. She met new human friends, horses and watched TV for the first time. Trix was brave through it all and came back to Big Barn exhausted. #Adopt or #foster this cutie.

🧡 MEET FRUITY PEBBLES 🧡

This 3 1/2 month old chunk (biggest of the litter) is the life of the party. She’s always up for playtime and is usually the last one still going when her siblings are ready to take a break. She’s also an expert cuddle bug and will also curl up with you when it’s time.

🧡 MEET QUISP 🧡

The runt of the litter and the absolute sweetest. Quisp loves going off on his own to play and explore. He steers clear of his littermates when they are being too rambunctious and prefers to observe all the action from the sideline. Don’t tell his siblings, but he’s our favorite.

We can’t decide who had more fun at our Tails and Tequila event…adoptable Fizzle or Fruit Loops.

Joker has been settling in at Big Barn, but would love a foster to land in until his forever is found. He’s an 8-month old goober who keeps us laughing. Joker loves other dogs, puzzles, car rides, trail walks, and snuggles.

Have you met Graham Cracker yet? He's one of Perdita's puppies who is looking for his forever home! This boy loves his humans and once he's had a good play session, he's ready to cuddle up and nap until the next one!

Meet Joker…our newest save from Chicago Animal Control. He was in the “urgent” list because he is in need of a back leg amputation so we welcomed him into our family this week.
