Tried to do this in VR Virtual Reader (including the thickness based on number of pages) but all the books needed to be kept exactly the same for optimization reasons 😢. Maybe one day.

I take the exact opposite approach. I learn only exactly what's needed and insulate myself from everything else. For example, I didn't know why some objects in my game were shimmering. I went and learned what aliasing/anti-aliasing was for 8 hours straight until fixed. Never thought about it again.

There's a browser extension called Unhook for YouTube. It lets you hide any part of the UI. The comments, the recommended videos on the side, the popups at the end of videos, etc. I didn't even realize how mentally taxing it was to have all that crap shoved in my face while I'm trying to focus.

I code as if Men in Black will come and wipe my memory after I'm finished.
