For a while my entire Insta recommended was just socal cosplayers and now I've followed so many random people I've met in Spokane's dive bar scene that I'm now being recommended locals for the first time in years

I googled "most beautiful women who ever lived" and scrolled through pages and pages and felt nothing. Then I googled "woman with facial piercings and purple hair and a nicotine addiction" and gazed upon the visage of true paradise

You can keep your "by this age you should be doing x". People who are beholden to either their own or other's strict standards could not possibly understand my happiness. Anyway, thank you, love you all xoxo

I'm living the I'm supposed to be living, the life that I naturally fall into, and it lines up rather well with the kind of life that makes me happy. Full autonomy, ample free time, friends that want to spend time with me, and a life free of unwanted stresses and burdens

I learned to once again love the things and the people around me, and to not spend my time dreaming about the grass that was honestly not much greener. I feel like I learned how to love again, and how to set boundaries, and learned a lot about myself, including how I value autonomy over all else

After the fact, when I opened up about a lot of the things that had been said to me during the last 9 months to a year of that relationship, how often I felt put down and had my competency questioned, a lot of people were in shock. Everyone was happy for it to finally be over

Truth be told, even just a couple weeks after, the outpouring of love I received from my friends and coworkers really put into perspective how unhappy I was in that relationship and how much I gave and how little I got back. A lot of these allies I didn't even know I had until then
