Here's my advice for running Mythic Bastionland, in the format of a GM-side version of the player oaths. Also clearly a chance to drop some anecdotes from my game.

I'm also a fan of plain (short) descriptions when keying, but I think Sam is off the mark. An RPG book isn't an essay or a novel. RPG books—systems and adventures—are meant be instructive. They need to teach the reader how to play the game. Textbooks, cookbooks, etc, look different.
