this is a really incredible visualization for this. well done
"I just need to finish this project" repeated across a disturbing meme involving a distressed stick figure
The crew module on Orion has separated from its service module. After traveling around the Moon, seeing its far side, and experiencing a solar eclipse, the Artemis II astronauts are on the last leg of their trip home.

Orion splashes down to successfully end Artemis 2 mission
The first human mission beyond Earth orbit in more than 50 years successfully concluded with a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean April 10.
The time I keep seeing is 8:07pm ET. But some people keep mixing up EST and EDT so I'm going to be tuning in early just to be safe.

A bit of a different take on the amazing Artemis II launch footage.
Here I stitched clips from the four Solar Array Wing Cameras to make this panoramic video.

Speaking of Threads, this one got me in the feels.
I absolutely love this animation showing Artemis II's path from Earth to the Moon and back, especially because it shows the solar wind and Earth's magnetic field.

Last night, it was called out when we passed the 144-hour return mark. Why is that significant? Because we’ve designed a crew survival approach for a cabin depressurization scenario through which we could support the crew for 144 hours. Today’s suit tests were part of testing those capabilities.
As the Artemis II crew journeys to the Moon, these images are a reminder of our shared home and humanity. At Easter, as the world reflects on hope and renewal, Gabby and I pray for strength, and for the fighting in Iran, Ukraine, and elsewhere to give way to dialogue and peace.
Oh my gd, the Artemis II crew doing a parody of a bad 1980s sitcom intro from in space.

every day I get up and spend time with my beautiful wife and my adorable kids and my friends and the people who live in my phone and I see so much of the good in humanity and I wish some of it, any of it, would rub off on the people running the world
we are so much better than this
