Nothing makes me happier as a Dice dragon than showing a fledgling "dice dragon" my collection.
How much have I spent? Plenty.
How much is each set? More than your whole set.
Just for an instant. I see it. The flash of envy as they covet my dice.
That's what I live for as a Dragon. Dice envy.
I can hear it.
The PC is screaming.
GMs/DMs: Iβm preparing to GM for the first time
Iβve got a million ideas and Iβve become OBSESSED. My brain says: write this as a novel
Is this a pretty typical experience? #ttrpgcommunity
So glad you're gonna be a first time GM!
Having a million ideas is fantastic. Write them all down. Use them for inspiration down the line.
The greatest difference between prepping for a game and writing a novel is the characters are writing the story for you.
And good prep allows them to, imo!
I mean you absolutely could do all the sounds with just your voice...
..and should for an April Fools episode maybe...? Idk you didn't hear it from me π
Also it's implied but just in case:
T
he sword should not SAY "Schwing." That would be unsettling. Unless it's the Bard's weapon.
Depends on the sword.
Rapiers go schwing
Greatswords go gcrrrsk
Everything else is in between depending on the weight of the weapon!
(Here's a variety pack I've used)

I now suddenly have the desire to drop everything and drive a kei truck across the country.
And the worst part... It's financially viable.
Who's with me??
A bowl of soba noodles with fried tofu and green onions. It's surrounded by other japanese food, and a hand in the background with chopsticks, looking for it's next bite.
All. The. Time.
I've ended up editing on my phone and exporting it to Lightroom to compare the differences and find a good median point. Because people usually see my stuff on a phone, I edit for phone screens.
Contrast and saturation can also be kinda subjective sometimes!
Oh the Oreo Cokes!
Tried this, more devisive than root beer.
I personally liked the Coke Oreos much better!
A 9-piece dice set with a resin coin, this dice set contains black geodes with gold edges and a shiny, glittery blue interior. The numbers are painted gold and the dice themselves look (and feel) incredibly sharp edged and pointy. A shield and hammer is printed on the coin, indicating heads and the logo of Blackwood Dice.
Have some more geode dice! (I need to take a better picture of this set eventually!)
To all my candy corns
(Bluesky compressed my image... Definitely saw that coming so have some zoomed in screenshots instead!)
This is a photo I took of Claude Monet's Water Lily Pond at the Art Institute in Chicago. Monet's brush strokes often feel as though he's using paint to press in the image of the water lily pond onto the canvas as you can see dips and pools of paint on the outer edge of each brush stroke. I chose to take the photo from a distance, where you would see it from the gallery floor to replicate what it would be like to see it in person. Water lilys with pink blossoms cover the surface of this small pond, and details (such as the creeping plants in the background) are reflected on the waters surface where there is a break in the water lilys. A small arched foot bridge spans the upper portion of the painting, with only the left side visibly dipping into a bed of reeds that line the pond. There's a reddish-orange tint on the surface of the pond, indicating that it's murky, but also that the summer sun is beginning to set later in the day. The painting itself is bordered by an ornate golden frame, featuring many textures such as small scales, arches, small chevrons and most prominently, flowing crests in the corners and middle portions of the frame. The hard lighting accentuates the reflective gold paint and makes it shine.
Hey, you.
The last few days on here have been pretty busy!
... Have you taken your meds and had some water?
Here, take 3 deep breaths real quick. I like to sigh on the last one
And zoom in on this painting for a bit. Check out the details. See how it flows.
Ok. Feel better? Great! Have fun!
Yay bird names! Our last campaign we went by The Kingfishers!
... Well it started off as Kingslayers but they got better.
There's a certain threshold of Vtubers I'm allowed to follow and interact with before certain feeds become vtuber-specific.
And other feeds (thanks to anthropomorphic Vtubers) have evolved entirely into nsfw furry art.
Personally not upset, just thought that was interesting...
