Imo Jacopo should have moved on with Consuelo and stayed away.
Since it's a well known fact Lidia Poët never married, kill Fourneau off bc the surgery didn't work or side effects, let her be heartbroken for a while BUT focus on her meaningful work to help people and then end with her legacy. (3/3)

Wasting time with introducing another Love Interest in S2 instead of actually developing the already existing relationship between Lidia and Jacopo just to add more drama 🙄 Their "relationship" still feels like it hasn't progressed at all from S1, and Jacopo did not become more likable (2/3)

I liked S3 of Lidia Poët but I will NEVER forgive the writers for ruining Fourneau&Lidia!
The way he always looked at Lidia, so full of admiration and love. Aaaah they were so cute😭💔

I haven't seen Patrick Schwarzenegger in anything and maybe he is just a Nepo-Baby but if the chemistry with Phoebe Dynevor really was that good that he surprised them all, I'm looking forward to the movie. Excellent chemistry between the cast is the most important thing for me in a movie/tc show.

It's always a bit funny when book fandoms have a meltdown because the cast for an adaptation doesn't look like they imagined them in their mind.
Luckily I don't have that problem bc I don't visualize what I read 😅

I DNF'd Beach Read, but I'll give the adaptation a chance.

I'm treating an adaptation as its own thing, well actually I'm disregarding the original work in its entirety when I'm watching them. Either they work for me or they don't 🤷🏼‍♀️
