Any roast I do I always make stock. Prawns and crab for fish pie. Lamb bones are particularly good x

I always make my own stock. If you flat pack it in freezer bags it saves space!

I’ll freeze some and bring them up for Boxing Day xx

I break the carcass up and add it to all the leftover veg including stuffing, add water, bay leaves, whole peppercorns, salt. Maybe a dash of Henderson and simmer for about three hours. Strain then cool. When it’s gelatinous I pop it in freezer bags and freeze. Instant stock!

I made a loaf of chicken stock on Sunday after our roast and added all the good stuff…

Yeah it’s such a great recipe when you’re not feeling great.

My first attempt at ever making wontons and they turned out ok!

All kids home poorly so I’m on an Asian food mission. Gyoza and the filling for spicy wonton soup. Proper comfort food full of chilli, garlic and ginger.
