I was born in 1953 on Eastern Avenue. Dungeon Lane was at the bottom of there leading to Oglet Shore. Like Paul I went to Liverpool Institute but 10 years apart. You walked from Oglet Shore to Hale Lighthouse. Speke was a tough place although Paul’s parents were not really working class.
Interesting! Dungeon Lane is in Speke, very close to Western Avenue and Ardwick Road where the McCartneys lived before they moved to their now more famous home.
