We’ve lost the plot.

My take: Capitalism without regulation kills democracy. That is the fundamental failure of democratic governments today. Planned obsolescence is an example of the fetid greed inherent to a purely capitalist system. Ethical guardrails on capitalism give democratic nations a fighting chance to survive
