Sound installation consisting of 4x4 loudspeakers in a black Board

Yesterday was the first day we presented this sound installation in public.

Since I work a lot with strange attractors, I used my Csound plugins to create attractor-based sounds wandering across this 4x4 loudspeaker matrix — producing clicky textures or dense, oscillating spectra.

I'm currently reflecting on that "computer music sucks" (Bob Ostertag) - especially its randomness. Between SuperCollider, Max, and Ableton, much of it sounds alike, shaped by the tools used.
So what is the true strength of computer music? What actually makes it compelling?
