But let’s encourage folks to remember the trouble part in making good trouble. Reframing this is valuable. These protests should be important enough to sacrifice for, be it a perfect attendance record or having to do make up work. Just my two cents. #FuckICE

I don’t think kids should face MORE consequences for protesting than what they’d receive for just missing school. They should not miss out on prom, or lose the right to walk at graduation, or extra punishment because of what they are protesting or that they are protesting versus skipping for fun.

I think it would be awesome if schools didn’t punish children for exercising their first amendment rights to protest, but it actually is part of the good trouble that they accept a bit of sacrifice for their participation. “I’m willing to give up my perfect attendance for this important cause.”

People forget the “trouble” in making good trouble. I am so proud of all of the school children who are protesting. And I think it is appropriate that they face some level of consequence for missing school, such as being marked for an unexcused absence.

If they weren’t classy, it would be funny if the Obamas posted a video with Trump’s and Epstein’s faces on little dogs that run around humping everything.

It’s important to note that they aren’t banning puberty blockers. They are only banning them for the treatment of gender dysphoria. For any other condition they can still be prescribed. I think there is a word for this? Discrimin-something?
