The cheaters never stop cheating to "win," because they don't care that if they "win," we all lose. They do not care.

The aim of the organised transphobic movement is to mandate trans people out of existence, they won't be happy until their targets are dead, it's a movement motivated by genocidal mania, and the cruel, vindictive, hateful bigotry extends from there.

Saying "Department of War" in public without shriveling into a curled millipede hugging themselves in the fetal position due to embarrassment is a red flag

headphones that aren't small, loseable, and expensive that you don't have to shove into your ear canals with force (some of us have small canals and it hurts like hell) and you don't have to charge and also fit into any phone without an adapter. we'll call them "headphones 2003-2016." they cost $15

😲 Now hastily crafting a warning to insert in my own upcoming first person novel.

I'm thinking along the lines of:
WARNING ⚠️
To avoid the danger of character impersonation syndrome, keep this book away from readers unable to distinguish fiction from reality.

And because I know people will comment, it is legal to take a photo of your own ballot in Virginia.

Did you know?
These days, defenestration—from the Latin fenestra, meaning "window"—is often used to describe the forceful removal of someone from public office or from some other advantageous position. History's most famous defenestration, however, was one in which the tossing out the window was quite literal. On May 23, 1618, two imperial regents were found guilty of violating certain guarantees of religious freedom and were thrown out the window of Prague Castle. The men survived the 50-foot tumble into the moat, but the incident marked the beginning of the Bohemian resistance to Hapsburg rule that eventually led to the Thirty Years' War and came to be known as the Defenestration of Prague. It was, in fact, the third such historical defenestration in Prague, but it was the first to be referred to as such by English speakers.

Here’s a biblical quote for RFK Jr.’s hearings.

“At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul”

DOJ demanded voter files from all 50 states.

DOJ sued 31 states for refusing their demand.

My law firm intervened to protect voters in those cases.

DOJ is now 0-5.

My firm is 5-0.

Lesson: When we fight we win.

Researchers took a stranger's Venmo transaction notes and reconstructed their home location, their child's school, and their daily schedule.

No breach. No hack. The data was just public.

I told the poor staffer I talked to that they're being horribly exploited by their cowardly boss. I said it's deeply unfair. I told them it's okay for them to admit that to themselves, to know that about their boss. I also said I hoped they find a way to make a real difference within that office.

These miserable reps have literal interns answering the phone. The youngest and most vulnerable and powerless people in their offices are the ones talking to the public, hearing these anguished cries for action. That's a massive moral failing of these politicians.

Jesus wept.

I just called my US rep and senators and told them they have to do everything they can to stop this genocide. I told them I don't care if they're in the minority. They have options. I told them to chain themselves to the White House fence.

Please call your reps, too. reps.fyi

- general vague language about your work, or AI-written basic details
- absolutely no detail on the illustrations required
- usually purports to be from a charity or school

11 year old washer, same. Can't say it didn't put in its time, though. Companies should hire us to test their machines.

It's frequently pointed out that NASA activities (and basic/exploratory science in general) have a fantastic return on investment, contributing far more to the economy than they take. But even if they didn't, no one's actually taking from the "cure sick people" pot to put money in the "rockets" pot.

NASA isn't why the US doesn't have universal healthcare, or a social safety net. The US doesn't have those things because politicians with the power to provide them choose specifically not to (with varying levels of support from voters). Enthusiasm for human spaceflight doesn't drive that choice.

All this Bluesky discourse about Bluesky but no one seems to just want it to be where they can roam around, join random conversations, maybe become a part of two or three loosely organised interest groups. Like the school playground during long break.
