@scarredforlife.bsky.social on one of your recent podcasts, this little guy got a mention. He actually resides I Kingswood Museum I South Glos and they occasionally wheel him out on open days. (Dave Prowse was a local lad hence the connection)

And they're also sticking their oar in on global politics enabling Putin and Netenyahu and encouraging the far-right in the UK and Germany. Basically,we're all fucked.

Absolutely dismayed to seeTrump sticking his oar in and orchestrating the betrayal of Ukrainians and Palestinians. Jarvis Cocker was right, cunts really are running the world.

Our first gig of the year....

I saw it happen to a girl crossing the road near Waterloo. 3 guys in balaclavas on e-bikes were circling nearby and I suspected they were dodgy. I was right as they soon snatched her phone. What shocked me was the speed of it, in seconds they'd had her phone and were off. She didn't stand a chance.

Oh, just thought of another one. 'Apache' about the dangers of mucking about on farms and particularly the scene where the kid drowns in a slurry pit. They showed that at my junior school and utterly terrified us.

Blimey,I'd forgotten that one. Proper scary and that bloody giant rat too (admittedly, the latter's not so scary now)

Nice use of The Damned's 'Nasty'. Tune!

Totally with you on that Jon. I can stomach most horror films but that scene did for me.

My grandad had a stack of these and the covers gave me nightmares. I never read the books but I heard about the notorious 'Kowlongo Play' and made the mistake of reading a plot summary. Nasty stuff!

Great film but it was the tramp/dog hybrid scene that freaked me out.
