id never use ai until its ethical but they could at least try to sell it for the things it's actually fucking useful for.

thing ai could be useful for: organizing image files by color, helping blind people get alt text on any image, assiting doctors in analyzing medical data when planning vaccines
things ceos want people to us ai for: making ugly generic ass anime women and answering shit that you could just google

note: this is NOT about things that are being used to fund racist and lgbtphobic lobbying im talking about tadc and specifically people clinging to the show when they clearly hate most of it and are too scared to hate something because nothing is “bad” about it.

You don’t need a moral reason to dislike something. You can hate a show bc you think it sucks. It is not necessary to make up reasons why the thing you do not like is “problematic” just to hate it. Just say you hate it.

a youtuber named spookydude has a video on "tortured operator" that i think encapsulates the idea perfectly. but i wanted to add my two cents in relation to the poster and website cause it specifically says it "needs a receptacle" and i think it's gonna go after jax bc he'll be alone.

like him abstracting for real isn’t satisfying by any means and them getting out doesn’t make sense at this point so the logical next step is that the circus, lacking caine, seeks a “recepticle” and latches onto the most vulnerable person there and vomits their mind onto the shell of the circus.

I hate to say it kids but based on that poster and the “caineandabel” website i think that jax is gonna end up getting yoinked by the circus itself and his brain is gonna be used as a conduit to put it together and the final conflict is the others trying to find him in the maze of his literal mind

i think my frustration is that we had to have this conversation at all. this is how indie works. its an uphill battle. its a struggle. they do not want us to win. this should have been responded to with excitement and congrats, not whining.

I think yesterday my pain level got to me but I've realized that for me fanart is really so self indulgent that I have a hard time sharing it. Especially since I tend to like characters that a lot of people just hate super loudly. It's part of why I don't usually jump into fandom space.
