Looking at recent reviews on Google; it has been "repurposed" for a government contract.

I'm wondering if it has been "repurposed" or it's being sold to another hotel operator. I've stayed there a couple of times and at (what is now the Crowne Plaza) and it was okay and handy for the city centre. It can't be from the fire 7 months ago.

Probably a Just Deliver Uber driver. They're pretty good at total disregard for parking regs up here in Lincoln. And, don't even start me on the adapted ebikes🤬

I tried using public transport before. Flat pack furniture on a TrentBarton bus with a change at Canning Circus doesn't really work🤣

Slightly jealous of your trip; all I got on my last Enterprise+ trip was an orange juice and my reserved seat was on coach B; which wasn't part of the consist that day😥. I've never yet had an Enterprise trip that hasn't had an issue somewhere.

Win win all round. Although, I can't complain at Lincoln-Dublin for around £50 when the fare to Holyhead alone can be more than double that.

I have to agree that the Stena is a very civilised ferry route. When I was over in Ireland in November; it was the better of the Holyhead-Dublin/Belfast-Cairnryan ferries that I used on my RailSail tickets.

I'd forgotten that this famous railway themed restaurant was in Prague. Well with a visit even if you don't like trains. The food and drink were excellent.

6hrs from leaving home & I still not at Luton Airport for Prague. Cancelled train, Rail replacement taxi gets lost, 2nd train no lights, 3rd delayed. NO visible staff since Lincoln. No apology. I will always fight for public transport's corner.BUT TOC's HAVE to do their bit and get the basics right🤬

The only drawback now is with the increased frequency; train sets are often swapped out for non-enterprise units with no first and limited/no catering. All I got last time was no reserved seat (coach missing from set) and a cup of orange juice. Not worth the upgrade on that occasion.

Don't even start me on Christmas. I had an email from a Casino chain the other evening inviting me to book now for Christmas 2025 at 2024 prices. I can't even plan for next week at the moment, let alone Christmas.
