I really dig the whimsy.

This is the one 64 game I played other than Goldeneye.

Not to mention having a random legendary monster appear the first night I took camp was pretty crazy.

This feels like a great direction for the series. I hope to post more on it as I play through. I'm still in the first area.

The quality of the game is noticeable. QOL adjustments with mount swapping, gene splicing, and just menu nav is great. The more dynamic movement being able to dive off your mount and having it catch you mid-air is hype.

Okay I played through Monster Hunter Stories 1 & 2. Fun little games.I didn't feel super incentivized to play the post-story, without NG+ etc, I'd rather just jump to the next game.

Going into MHS3 blind I didn't realize how different it was going to be. I'm really happy with the improvements.

I was writing a post about not being a fan of a lot of post game content in rpgs. But then I accidentally closed my tab, so this is my low effort version.

World of Final Fantasy is such a joy. I really hope for a sequel. I like that FF was creating turn based spin-offs while experimenting with the main line.

I'll probably try again at a later time but for now I'm just going to play some of my other backlog.

Sadly, I couldn't get through the intro sequence without feeling woozy. The flashiness and dynamic camera just make me uneasy and it's difficult to look at the screen. The frame rate also felt a little odd not sure if that's due to the PS5 or what

Ever since I played Metaphor: Refantazio I've been wanting to try out the Persona series. I have both 5 Royal and 3 Reload.

Been trying to get into Code Vein (first one). I like the general gameplay loop of exploring, finding memories, customizing the revenant. The world building is interesting.

But something just feels off with it. So I'm lacking motivation to finish it.

Each year I help students navigate their way to creating a game. This year my students took it up a notch and created their own indie studio. Really excited to see this project come to life.

I still think about my playthrough of Final Fantasy XII from last year quite often, I truly enjoyed that experienced a lot!

Lightning is probably one of my favorite FF Protagonists! 💛

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! That is all.

That's why I couldn't bring myself to play it. I tried to force it for the first few months but I've been burned too many times by Live Service FF games. I would have been happy if it was just a mobile retelling of the story. I don't need all the gacha and multiplayer stuff.

This game was a lot of fun. NG+ was even better than the first play through.

Took a little break from FFXIV since the semester started. So I'm back to playing my backlog.

Really enjoy the whimsical atmosphere. Gameplay is fun, challenging, rewarding, and active.
