In preparation for inevitably seeing Super Mario Galaxy, my partner and I watched Super Mario Bros (2023). Didn't hate it as much as I expected to. Loved the inclusion of the Super Show theme and the cribbing of story beats from the 93 movie. These two however, will always be my Mario Brothers.
The real joke from 4/1 was when I said I'd get our April calendar out "tomorrow". It's out now and we have many things this month starting with a Seanan McGuire book launch! As usual the full calendar is available at crowsnest.quest/events-calen...
Prerelease signups will open around 3PM today. :3
Dude! Love that y'all got Paul to guest! He's one of my all time favorites and I'm super excited to give this episode a listen.
A simpler time for sure.
This #stpatricksday keep it green like a #hulk on the cover of Wizard magazine. We're LUCKY to have you all on this wild, nostalgic ride with us. Thanks, Geeks!

Yet again I'm proving bad at self promotion, but I was informed we have another Bandcamp Friday today and if you wanna kick your boy a few bucks AND get some killer surf rock, it wouldn't go unnoticed 😉

I feel like today had the type of weather everyone tried to warn me about when I moved down here and except for a few hours this morning, it hasn't been the worst.
I want this drop so bad!
I definitely got it around the time it was put out. Also entirely possible I got it from a friend who kept the main issue 🤔
This looks even more unhinged than I imagined 😁 (I also absolutely backed this day 1).
Was that Inferno #0 released with another issue of Wizard? Cause I have it but not the Top Cow special.
I absolutely had this one hanging on my wall when I was a teenager right alongside the Lady Death Crucible #5(?) cover. But I believe mine came from one of the Postermania books.
I'm catching more Violator from Spawn vibes.
🤘
a flyer that reads: Urgent Call!! for donations to Twin Cities Swoletariat Bail Fund for a comrade facing federal repression. Venmo @TCSwoletariat CashApp $TCSwoletariat
I'll be sharing a few more fundraisers from the twin cities, and once again, I am only sharing those that are vouched for by people I personally know who are on the ground.
This is a bail fund that helps people who were arrested and are facing charges.
Egads!

I'd have been all in on that Elektra book just for the Greg Horn cover.
FIVE YEARS & he has not been held accountable for one of the most disgraceful events in this nation's history.
Trying to overturn a fair election in an attempted coup against his own government is the very definition of TREASON. We can never move forward until this is fully adjudicated. #ShameOnUS🇺🇸
First CES panel. Intuit CMO Thomas Ranese is proud of his company's integration with OpenAI, which involves giving AI read/write access to tax data. Since prompt injection attacks are unavoidable, I asked him who will be liable when customer data is exposed: Intuit, OpenAI, etc?
He had no idea.
Heck yeah!
Today is the last day that you can repost this image
Now, I absolutely understand the need for the change, but listening to these pair of remastered episodes really does find me nostalgic for a lot of aspects of the old format. Thank y'all for the glimpse back in time and hope y'all are enjoying the holidays.
