Was there. Only loss I ever saw in person for the Canes

I thought it was portrayed by Wickersham as he liked O’Connell a lot and initially said Minny but after visiting Bears told his dad he wanted to go to Chicago. Seems like it lines up with the book

Can’t wait for Pitt so sign him and Tomlin to have his first losing season

Nah I think he’s lucky if it’s only for the rest of this season. Embarrassing behavior. Tbh if it was my dad I wouldn’t want him there.

Pretty much how I saw it grade wise. So Hypollite will probably be the best of the bunch lol

I loved FA and the first 2 rounds of the draft. Day 3 not so much. But they did a great job helping Caleb. Hopefully he’s good enough to take advantage of it

The Spring is our season!

Like it for both teams. Bears gave up next years 4th for Thuney so now have a full complement of picks. Rams get interior DL depth

Love this. Gave up their’s for Thuney so now have all picks for next year

With defensive coaches, I think the more cussing they do when describing a D-lineman, the more they love how he plays. Guys f*ckin’ love A&M’s Shemar Turner, a steal for the Bears at the end of the 2nd: www.nytimes.com/athletic/627...

2025 NFL Draft: Is Tyler Warren or Colston Loveland TE1? Breaking down 2 fun prospects at a challenging position Warren is arguably the bigger name, and Penn State deployed him in a number of different ways. But don't undersell Loveland's potential here either.

Huge shoutout to @natetice.bsky.social who has been on Colston Loveland being drafted ahead of Tyler Warren for a month. If you’re surprised by Chicago’s choice, read Nate’s take here

Loveland had nearly 60 catches last year while playing with a JV quarterback carousel

Going to be an instant impact guy

Loveland has long reminded me of a taller Sam LaPorta

this was a great fit for Ben Johnson

See I think he’s more of a sure thing because he can separate. Everything Warren did was contested or schemed up touches. I’d rather have the guy who can create space 1-on-1 for his QB. Especially for Caleb who’s still learning to trust and anticipate.

Colston Loveland to the Bears was a fanfiction that actually came true

Yup was a tough spot to be in but glad they didn’t trade up and give up capital. Those 2nd rounders are going to be big picks for them

Doesn’t separate. Will have to be schemed open. Still will be a fun player once he gets it in his hands

Wouldn’t rule it out. But could see them wait to see if either make it to day 2 and then trade up earlier in 2nd to take one…or take the Minny kid

Colston Loveland hive unite

My thoughts exactly. Keep your draft capital. I was higher on Loveland than Warren. Separated better. Reminded more of what he had with LaPorta. Way too high for any of the OT’s that were left. And the DL left all had serious question marks or didn’t fit what Allen wants in an edge.

Just curious why you think it’s odd? It’s been speculated they’d try to extend him. 1 of the better defensive players on the team, team leader and local guy. I’m shocked he took so little a year

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

Bears extended Jackson so won’t move on from him next year. If they don’t extend Thuney, I agree they’ll need to draft his replacement for next year. If they extend him than a late round pick at G to develop makes sense.

Definitely agree safety is a sneaky need for Bears. Byard old and on last year of deal. Brisker concussion issues and on last year of deal. Both backups in last year of deals and only ST/depth guys.

It’s been pretty brutal for the guys who’ve gone thru it before. Maybe he won’t care and more power to him if he doesn’t.

I almost feel like the league sees it as a win win at the possible expense of this kid’s embarrassment. It’ll be drama while he’s sitting there. Good for ratings while he squirms. I wish he wasn’t going. Hopefully Pitt takes him

Both so good

Brett did EJ put you up to this to try and get him to slide to pick 10? If so, well played

It’s crazy we have any hope after being beaten down by this franchise lol. But I keep expecting things to turnaround

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

Might’ve been MVP if they won. He was amazing that game

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

lol hopefully Johnsom only uses him as a blocker or only lets him carry it if a games out of reach. I’d like to think he’s smart enough but the Williams WR pass in an important point of the playoff game has me concerned
