I think the #BlueJays moves this #TradeDeadline are good and make the team better. I was still hoping they would’ve added from the top of the pitching market like the Mets, Phillies or Padres. Hopefully there’s still more to come.

But that’s the thing, records can also be deceiving. Yes, they were winning but it’s not like they were blowing anyone out of the water. It never seemed sustainable. I tried not to get too excited about that record.

I would say this team looks awfully similar to last season’s: the same ailments around offence, a good starting rotation that is one injury away from falling apart, and a cold and hot bullpen. Not exactly I winning formula but I hope you are right. I’m still watching all the games and supporting.

Obviously I meant to say that even if they improve and play to their full potential, they still seem like a team poised to miss the playoffs and end at the bottom of the division. I would love nothing more than to be proved wrong.

Is there really a reason to believe the team could turn things around? The start of the season looks more like a mirage and that this is closer to the team’s real level.
