I'm amazed at the number of people who talk over others. I have white noise deafness, so I'm super sensitive to it, but I miss probably 20-30 percent of conversations daily because people are rude and trying to talk over another person. These people are why we invented tasers. Heh

I'm required to review security training materials regularly for two clients. One, I review regularly and keep up. The other, I lapsed for several months. Now I'm catching up and am astounded how repetitive and little new info is in any of these. It's the same 4 lessons over and over. Ugh.

Is it just me? 99% of the personal business interactions I’ve had lately (haircut, pharmacy, restaurants, etc.) I’ve been stood up, ignored, treated like an idiot, told “that’s not my problem,” etc.
Is something in the air or am I clueless to me being a dick to them? (Don’t think I have been.)

For one client, I go through TikToks and Instagram reels looking for engagement opportunities. If you think the shit you see on your feed is ridiculous, you should shadow me one day. Found a dude with thousands of followers who just shows clothes tumbling in a dryer. ASMR. Nothing else. No lie.
The most fun I've had was mistakenly being added to a girls night out group text. They input the area code wrong on one number. When they asked what time I'd be there, I answered, "Might be late. Tim gave me chlamydia." I guessed right. One of the gal's was dating a Tim. Hilarity ensued.
Thinking about switching all my social media content to be my old social media advice regurgitated, but off the rails. Like, "You shouldn't post the same content across social channels because the audiences are different. But if you are going to, please do so in ass-less chaps."
My girlfriend and her kids are still mad at me for standing up in nothing but my underwear and dancing in the hot tub on Saturday. My response is simple: Why else would they have it running full steam in the middle of Lowe's?
I made it 38 days into 2025 before going back on my promise to cut back on concerts this year. I saw over 120 acts last year. I just bought tickets to two festivals which may put me close to that number again in this year. Oh well. #yolobaby

My therapist and I have been talking about toxic families and toxic family members. (Generally, not specifically mine.) But the more I think about it, if I get rid of toxic family members, I won't have any left. Heh.
To unlock the true understanding of why social media works for some and not other, you must come to terms with the fact that, in general, no one cares about your posts. It is only then you can figure out how to make them.
The more sales calls and startup pitches one sits through, the more in favor of legal, personalized tasers one becomes. If you can’t explain what your shit does in less than 10 minutes, keep editing.
