👀 whoa, what??? I was already on board for whatever expansion they might want to do, but now I'm extra intrigued by a prequel
while also being a recipe for disaster for being a well-adjusted person. really, I can just think of a lot of ways the idol life and demon hunting life could have been more strongly paralleled and played with when it comes to that message/theme
and that's not even getting into what the story looks like from her pov, and how the "hide your faults and flaws"(humanity) line is such a layered theme (?) w/how that's practical advice for both demon slayers fighting an enemy that can get under your skin/into your mind and the role of an idol
yeah! celine was so absent from the movie that I worked myself up into thinking they were going to reveal that she was gwi-ma 😭 which made the rumi reveal all the more impactful. she definitely could have used a scene or two of her looking sadly at a picture of rumi's mom/their trio or something
no, me too. I would have loved a longer runtime to give some moments more time to breathe and develop more naturally

played myself finishing my hero academia bc I was amused+intrigued by all the ire the ending drew from ppl not getting their ship crumbs and now *I'm* the one huffy over how unsatisfying/hypocritical/weak/fumbled the story and writing is...🤦🏿♀️
they're not flashy, but they always catch my attention. your works always feel like an invitation to pause and contemplate. like putting a frame around things often overlooked or easily missed to better appreciate them. I wouldn't say they're boring when they're so full of visual interest!
