While it’s not one of my best shots, capturing this Summer Tanager at the Big Morongo Preserve was definitely an exciting highlight last summer. The only all red bird in the California High Desert. Love Cottonwood trees.

Townsend’s warblers don’t show up to the bird feeder that often but when they do they certainly stand out amongst the crowd

Turkey Vultures in 29 Palms a couple weeks ago. Usually see a few of them but there were hundreds if not thousands. Not a beautiful bird…but very unique and interesting all the same.
