Barbara Garson’s satirical play MacBird! is a prime example of a courageous woman speaking truth to power during the treacherous Sixties USA. The prologue echos loudly now. I wrote a history and feminist analysis of MacBird! (my humble 2009 dissertation) and am happy to share the inspiring events.
