Today we celebrate Callum Regan, a PhD student working at the @ki.se in Sweden. Callum recently published an interesting article in JPAH that found that physical activity & sedentary behavior levels varied more by sex & education than by chronic disease.

A recent study tracked body size & multiple fitness components among children aged 6–18. Despite increases in body size, body size–adjusted declines were observed in CRF + reaction time, w/additional age-specific changes across balance, speed, & muscular power.

Emerging genetic evidence suggests that physical activity may help lower the risk of sleep disorders. A new study revealed a significant negative association between physical activity and sleep disorders, indicating a potential protective effect.
