It was so very much a “task failed successfully”
Everyone had a great time, I was lost at least two thirds of the time, but we had a bar fight and a good bunch of laughs!
So, nothing really went according to plan and I *felt* like a first timer. But I walked away with a good time having learned.
I've filled in for a scheduled game before. I've done some one shots that were pre-packaged before. But this was the first time the "plan" was for me to run a game in Ver Sayles.
It was very dope. Still don't know what I'm doing. Probably never will but I'm gonna do it anyway!
It went by without much fanfare and celebration, which is weird for me, but I ran my first "official" ttrpg game in my homebrewed setting this past Friday.
It's a little thing, but it's a big thing, because I did a thing instead of just showing up for a thing. I can't wait to do more things now.
